New Water Rates Effect Date

At the last City Council meeting, the new water rates were approved and will take effect on the January 2022 billing cycle.

The council requested that the Oklahoma Rural Water Association perform an analysis of our current water rates as compared to other cities. At the September meeting, a representative gave a presentation of 3 different models of water rates. At the October meeting, the council selected the proposal #2. Those rate tables were published in The County Times and on Facebook.

For rate for the first 1000 gallons or less will be a flat rate of $20 and will be priced per gallon afterwards of usage.
