Bulk Trash Pickup

§ 16-65 CHARGES FOR SOLID WASTE COLLECTION AND DISPOSITION.
4. Bulky items and other waste material considered non-household trash shall be a separate charge. Household items in excess of 95-gallon container(s) shall be considered bulky items. The rate change for disposal of bulky items and other non-household trash, such as furniture, mattresses, water heaters, appliances and other similar waste, will be assessed per cubic yard.
a. Collection for bulk items will be on the last Tuesday of each month. Residents must contact the city’s solid waste service provider for pick up.
b. Bulk items shall not be placed curbside until the weekend prior to the last Tuesday of each month and no later than 7:00 a.m. on the day of collection. If the bulk items brought to the curbside are not collected by bulk trash pickup the items must be removed by the owner or person of the same back off the curbside until the next pickup date.
c. Bulk trash left on the curbside on days other than the forementioned days will be removed and a fee of $30 will be added to resident’s water bill.
