My name is Mark Hill, Sr., and I am currently searching for a living kidney donor. If you are considering becoming a donor, your gift could give me the opportunity to regain my health and spend more time with the people I love most.
Service has been the foundation of my life. For more than 20 years, I proudly served our country in the United States military. After my military career, I continued serving through the Department of Defense. Retirement didn’t change my desire to give back. I later had the privilege of serving my community as a City Councilman until my health no longer allowed me to continue.
While I have been blessed to serve my country and my community, my greatest accomplishment has always been my family. I have been married to my wonderful wife for 35 years, and together we have raised two incredible children. They have been my greatest joy and my greatest blessing.
Today, I am facing one of the biggest challenges of my life. Kidney disease has taken a tremendous toll on my health, and a kidney transplant offers the best opportunity for me to enjoy more healthy years with my family and to continue to serve the community Although I am on the transplant waiting list, the wait for a deceased donor can take years. A living donor could make that journey much shorter and give me the chance to create more memories with the people I cherish.
Throughout my life, I have always tried to be someone others could count on. Now, I find myself asking for help. If you are willing to consider becoming a living kidney donor, you have the opportunity to give an incredible gift: more time. More time with my wife. More time with my children. More time with my family, friends, and the community I have been honored to serve.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Whether you choose to become a donor, share my story with others, or simply keep me in your prayers, your kindness and support mean more than words can express. If you considering being a donor please see information below. Thank you and God bless!
Sincerely
Mark Hill
